Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior Hudson Lorensen has chosen the college he’d like to attend to pursue his basketball career.

Following graduation next May, Lorensen will be attending Upper Iowa University in Fayette. Lorensen filled up the stat sheet during the 2024-25 season, leading the Tigers with 656 points, shooting 54 percent from the field and 42 percent from behind the 3-point line. He was also pretty automatic from the field throw line at 88 percent, then grabbed 53 total rebounds, had 34 assists, and 26 steals. 

ADM finished the year with a 22-5 overall record (13-3; 2nd inside the Raccoon River Conference), eventually losing to Clear Lake 66-57 in the Class 3A State Semifinals at Wells Fargo Arena. Lorensen will try to lead the Tigers a little further to the championship this upcoming season.
