Perry cross country faced their most difficult competition of the season Thursday as they hosted the Leon Fox Invite. The Bluejays claimed sixth out of ten teams.

Ivan Willett was the best for the boys with 20th place.  Edwyrd Steil finished two spots back in 22nd.

Lily Myers had her first finish outside of the top five after coming in 12th place.

Head Coach Nathan Krohn likes where his team is three weeks away from state qualifying, but added there is still more work to be done.

The Bluejays were just five points back from Greene County for fifth place.

Perry returns to the course next Thursday at Saydel.
