Iowa high school students seeking consideration for appointment to one of the U.S. service academies need to submit their application by Friday, October 24.

Senator Grassley is just one legislator accepting nominations, he encourages students to apply to more than one service academy and to seek additional recommendations. Grassley says that the service academies offer opportunities for young Iowans to serve our country, while also receiving an advanced education. He adds that he’s honored to nominate the best and brightest the state has to offer to these academies every year.

Students may submit their applications to any of Senator Grassley’s Iowa offices in person or mail them to Senator Grassley’s office in the Federal Building in Des Moines. To find Grassley’s nomination form use this link.
