A newer business in the Perry community will be home to a ceremonial event on Tuesday.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that a ribbon cutting will take place at Century Farm Books and Brews, 1018 2nd Street, on Tuesday to officially welcome them as a chamber member. She says the retailer is a book store that has games, gifts, and beverages. Pasutti loves seeing the diversity of unique businesses in the community and encourages those who have not stopped by to check it out during the ribbon cutting.

“For those that are book lovers, if you’re interested in the games and the unique book adjacent gifts, like bookmarks and postcards and things like that, (it’s) a great opportunity to find some of those unique things. And then if you’re into crafts, there’s lots of different programming, trivia night, (and) stuff like that.”

Pasutti adds that people will hear from the owner on the origin of the business as well as other cool aspects about it. She shares that everyone is welcome to the ribbon cutting, which will be held on Tuesday at 4pm.
