
On Friday, the West Central Valley Wildcats football team celebrated Homecoming, and played host to the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. West Central Valley battled, but fell to the Roadrunners in the end 24-0.
The battle was close at halftime, as West Central Valley found themselves down 6-0 at the end of the first half. Colton Lindsay and the Wildcat offense continued to battle but were not be able to break through in the second half, while the West Central Valley defense pulled out all the stops in the third, but found themselves down to the Roadrunners 24-0. The fourth quarter remained quiet for both teams, but the Wildcats were be held at zero in the end, falling 24-0.
Now sitting at 2-4, Wildcat football prepare to take the road next week, traveling to Pleasantville High School to face off against the Trojans.
