On Thursday, the West Central Valley Wildcats cross country teams hosted the Wildcat Invitational, hosting ACGC, CAM, Nodaway Valley and Woodward Academy.

The West Central Valley boys found success within the top twenty, with three Wildcats medaling at home. Carson Tigges finished in 10th place with a time of 19:28.54. Kiernan Hutton finished in 12th place in 19:56.58 with Bentley England behind him in 13th with a time of 20:01.41. For the girls, Dallas Morgan put on a show finishing in fifth place in 25:28.31 with Rhowen Miller behind her in 10th with a time of 32:23.55.

The Wildcats return to action on Monday, traveling to Greenfield for the Nodaway Valley Meet. The boys begin first at 5pm with the girls to follow at 5:30.
