Saturday is this year’s annual Fall Festival in Guthrie Center.

Main Street Guthrie Center Director Becky Peterson says this is an event that has been going on for several years, but has changed times and locations more than once. She mentions that this year they have added a meat smoking competition, and that teams can still apply to compete by contacting the Wilms brothers. Peterson explains that the farmers market will also take place during the festival, and that there will be food and drink vendors, along with inflatables, games and crafts for children. She adds that it is free to attend the event, which takes place from noon to 6pm.
