ACGC volleyball went 1-2 Saturday at the Greene County Tournament.

The Chargers saw their seven match win streak end in the opening match to South Hardin.  ACGC lost the first set 11-21, won the second set 21-14, and lost the third set 10-15.

The Chargers defeated Carlisle in their second contest despite losing the first set 11-21.  ACGC rallied winning the final two sets 21-18 and 15-12.

Van Meter knocked off the Chargers to end the day.  ACGC won the first set easily 21-14. But unfortunately lost the second set 10-21 and lost the third 3-15.

“Even though the results weren’t what we hoped for, the girls showed moments of great teamwork and hustle. We had some important learning moments about communication, consistency, and fundamentals, all things we’ll take into practice this week as we prepare for our next match.”

The Chargers host Ogden Tuesday in West Central Activities Conference action.
