On Saturday, the #4 Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team traveled to Urbandale High School for the Urbandale Tournament. DCG faced off against Ames, Johnston, Western Christian and Waukee Northwest.

The Mustangs battled against the Johnston Dragons first, and defeated the Dragons 2-0 winning the first set 21-18 and 21-17. DCG then faced off against the #1 Western Christian Wolfpack, falling 2-1 winning the second set 21-17 and falling 16-14 in the third set. DCG bounced back in their third game of the tournament against Ames, sweeping Ames 2-0 before falling to Waukee Northwest to wrap up the day.

The #4 Mustangs advance to 21-11 and prepare for action on Tuesday, traveling to Oskaloosa High School to face off against the 4-17 Indians. First serve is scheduled for 7:15pm.
