Perry football hits the road this Friday with a trip to Harlan as district play continues in pod six in 3A.

Historical powerhouse, Harlan Community, welcomes the Bluejays to Merrill Field.  The Cyclones have won 14 3A state titles.  Harlan is a perfect 7-0 the past two decades against the Bluejays including winning the last three years.  Perry fell last year 49-7 to Harlan.

The Bluejays fell Friday to Atlantic 49-7 while Harlan knocked off Creston 56-22.  Jacobo Cerna-Gomez has a team high 33.5 tackles and will hope to slow a Cyclone offense that is averaging nearly 28 points a game.

The Bluejay offense is led by Ian Fisher, who threw a 23 yard TD to Philip Gray for the lone Perry score on Friday.

0-6 Perry travels to 2-4 Harlan this Friday, a game that will air on KDLS.
