Fresh off a thrilling victory at the Greene County Invitational on Saturday, Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s volleyball Rams host West Marshall (State Center) tonight in Jefferson in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference match. The Rams are 12-9 on the season and 3-1 in the league while the Trojans are 4-21 overall and 2-4 in conference matches.

The Rams won their own tournament on Saturday by going 4-1 and downing Carroll High for the title in three sets after losing in two sets to the Tigers in pool play. Set three in the finals saw the Rams trail 3-10 before rallying for a 16-14 victory to wrap up the title. The Rams have hosted this event five times and this was not only the first time winning it, but before Saturday the Rams had not made it to the finals in their own event.
