Anyone who is looking to improve their artistic abilities is invited to some open sessions in Jefferson.

Elliott Art Studio is hosting several Studio Tuesdays where people are encouraged to bring their own artwork and be in a creative space. Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich is excited that the Co-Owner of Elliott Art Studio will also be there for each of these sessions.

“And have Chad there who will give you some tricks, some ideas, some tools of the trade, and little insider tricks from his, you know, decades of being an artist. So you kind of have an expert there to do that. And also, just a creative environment. So if you’re looking for ‘a’ maybe a little nudge to get a project started, maybe you’ve got one underway and you’re stuck, or you just want to be among other creatives, come and do this.”    

According to Elliott Art Studio, Chad has 30 years of experience in artwork and is also a professional musician. Organizers say that this is geared towards people of all artistic levels. Studio Tuesday is the first Tuesday of the month through March of 2026. The first session is this Tuesday from 6-8pm. The cost to attend is $40 per session or $210 for all six nights.
