6:42am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident in the 700 block of D Avenue. Paula Mckeever of Des Moines struck a deer with a 2019 Dodge Caravan. The estimated damage to the van is 8,000 dollars.

5:25pm: A deputy assisted with getting a calf back in the fence on Neola Avenue near 252nd Street.

6:42pm: Heather Dobney 39 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
