Funeral services for Beverly Lucille Hoyt, 95, of Jefferson and formerly of Scranton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson.  Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson, and will resume at 9:30 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Beverly is survived by her six children: Cheryl Nailor of Jefferson; Dennis (Connie) Hoyt of Quincy, IL; Linda (Tim) Lindeen of Dayton, MN; Gary (Melanie) Hoyt of Ankeny; David (Rosemary) Hoyt of Jefferson; and Nancy (Kelly) Anderson of Ames; as well as 18 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and brothers-in-law Dale (Linda) Hoyt, Neal (Caroline) Hoyt and Ron Carroll; and sister-in law Gaye (Larry) Barr.
