The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team attended a tournament at CAM High School on Saturday.

Head Coach Caley Vaughan says that they played the Atlantic Trojans first, falling 21-17 in the first set, winning the second 21-15, and ultimately falling in the third set 15-10. She mentions that they then played a match against the hosting CAM Cougars, taking both sets with a score of 21-19, with the wins motivating the team for the next match. Vaughan shares they played the Fremont Mills Knights as their third opponents, taking the first set 21-16 and the second 21-15.

Vaughan mentions that after a lunch break, and played the Class 1A 4th ranked Sidney Cowgirls, who hadn’t lost since September 2nd. She adds that the Chargers took down the Cowgirls in two sets, 21-18 in the first, and 21-15 in the second. Vaughan explains they took on an undefeated Riverside Bulldogs team next, and while they served well and hit hard, ultimately fell 21-10 in the first set and 21-15 in the second.
