The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is looking forward to their annual Library Boo Bash for this year.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins mentions that this is something that they do each year that coincides with the Guthrie Center trick-or-treat night. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio some of the things patrons can expect for this year.

“We are going to have the photo backdrops so you can take a photo of your kids in their costume, just to kind of give you a little more spooky background for that memory of the Halloween costumes. And then we’re still kind of working on the layout and what we’re planning for the rest of it, it should be a fun time for all.”

Hawkins mentions that some of their craft events this month will be creating a few things to include for the Boo Bash. She adds that the festivities take place October 30th from 5-7:15pm.
