The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs prepare for day two of the Class 4A State Golf Tournament with Drake Jordan currently leading the charge for the Mustang golf team, ending day one with a score of 35 strokes with two eagles so far.

Jordan currently finds himself tied for fourth place and is just three strokes ahead of first place. Jordan eagled in the 13th and 18th hole, shooting for three strokes in both holes. Jackson Zeller also finds himself on the leaderboard after day one, tied for 15th place shooting four over par.

State golf action continues today at 9am as DCG prepares for the final day of the state golf tournament with play concluding today at 3pm with the awards to follow.
