The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team participated in the second day of the West Central Activities Conference yesterday.

 

Head Coach Caley Vaughan says that they first took on the WCAC 2nd ranked Woodward-Granger Hawks, falling in the first set 25-13, winning the second 25-21 and ultimately falling 15-11 in the third set. She mentions that they then faced the conference 4th ranked Des Moines Christian Lions in consolation action, winning the first set 25-20, then falling 25-13 in the second, and lost the final set 15-11.

 

Vaughan explains that the girls had some great hits and kills throughout the night,along with several serve aces. She adds that despite the losses, the team worked extremely hard, and showed a lot of heart and determination throughout the night.
