With the temperatures continuing to cool off, the Dallas County Conservation Board is holding a program on Tuesday to embrace the fall season.
According to Outreach Coordinator Jeni Baker, the organization is inviting people to their Sunset Fall Color Hike at the Kuehn Conservation Area. She notes that Naturalist Erica Northwick will be taking guests along the trail to discover the concept behind the philosophy of the changing colors of the leaves. Baker describes the part that she really loves about the fall season.
“That you’re not hot. You can layer up and just watching the colors change is honestly pretty.”
She outlines that the hike will take place from 6-7pm on Tuesday and it is completely free for anyone to join. She encourages registrations beforehand in order to get a head count. The registration link can be found by clicking here.
