Greene County goes to Winterset today for a regular season ending tournament while Paton-Churdan’s volleyball team plays in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference Tournament in Dunlap hosted by Boyer Valley.

Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams are part of a strong field in Winterset. Greene County is on the edge of clinching a winning season overall after finishing Heart of Iowa Conference play at 5-3. Overall, the Rams are 14-10. They will host Des Moines Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Jefferson at 7 p.m. to begin postseason play in Class 3A Region 6.

Coach Nikki Uebel’s Rockets are 4-10 heading to the RVAC tourney. P-C hits the road Monday for Newell vs. Newell-Fonda in a first round Class 1A Region 1 contest at 7 p.m.
