A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated, which is coming to the City of Perry late next year, is inviting the public to a ceremonial event on Thursday.

According to A.D.R. Axles U.S. Agent Jon Kallen, the organization is holding a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction for its inaugural facility within the United States. Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson details that A.D.R. Axles is an Italian-based company and will be designating Perry as its official headquarter office in the U.S., creating a 54,000 square foot complex in the Industrial Park, 303 Soumas Avenue.

Recently, JBS USA, which is a meat production organization, broke ground in the Industrial Park to start building their facility in the hopes of bringing up to 500 jobs. Peterson realizes that Dallas County is growing quickly, and wants to continue to innovate for the future.

“Not taking our foot off of the gas pedal of attracting new businesses and really regaining all of the jobs that were lost in the last year and a half. So great things are happening, there’s always more work to do to attract new companies to bring jobs to the community.”

Peterson explains that the A.D.R. Axles is investing $14 million and is planning to hire somewhere between the 35-50 job range. Kallen encourages people to dress appropriately, as the groundbreaking ceremony will take place outside, starting at 3pm.
