It’s Des Moines Christian at Greene County tonight at 7 o’clock in a Class 3A Region 6 quarterfinal found high school volleyball match. The action at the high school in Jefferson begins the postseason with the winner likely to make a trip to Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll vs. the top 10 ranked Knights this Thursday at 7 p.m.

DMC is a member of the West Central Activities Conference and they enter tonight’s action with a 14-23 record. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams are 14-16 and have had a rollercoaster regular season. After starting the campaign 0-5, the Rams were sitting at 6-8 midseason, then hit a hot streak, wining their own tournament, and improving to 14-9. Last week the Rams played seven matches and lost them all, so they’ll be trying to stop a seven match losing streak in addition to advancing in postseason play.
