Photo belongs to the ADM Dance Team

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Dance Team started off the 2025 season with a strong campaign this past Saturday in Adel, bringing home hardware.

The Tigers hosted “The Dance Challenge” competition, where Head Coach Jana Morrissey shares that over 150 dancers were in attendance, ranging from studios to high school teams. She notes that the junior varsity squad competed in Pom and Jazz, being named the Grand Champions. Morrissey adds that seniors Genevieve Book, Isabelle Karwal, and Jordan Crannell represented well in the contemporary dance and lyrical solo divisions, then also junior Evelyn Miller received the Photo Challenge Award.

Morrissey outlines that “The Dance Challenge” is an organization that assists dance teams host competitions, and details that ADM was able to make 100 percent of concessions profits and was granted a check of $1,767. She illustrates that ADM is preparing for the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association JV Comp and Solos on Thursday.
