On Monday, the West Central Valley Wildcat volleyball team played host to the Nodaway Valley Wolverines for the first round of regional volleyball action. The Wildcats put up a fight, but fell to the Wolverines 3-0.

The Wolverines had a dominate first set, defeating West Central Valley 25-13. The Wildcats began to battle back lead in kills by senior Macy Long, but fell short to Nodaway Valley in the second set, 25-19. The Wolverines continued to apply pressure, defeating West Central Valley 25-16 to claim a 3-0 victory.

The season officially comes to a close for the West Central Valley Wildcats who wrap up their season with a 9-21 record.
