During the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Boards’s regular joint meeting, the two changed some dates for parent teacher conferences.

Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that they discussed the dates, and decided to change them to coincide with other changes made in the communities of the school districts. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio what those changes were.

“(On the) original calendar we had it on the 29th and 30th of October. With our playoff picture, and you know I’m not trying to look ahead here, but hopefully we’re playing football on the 31st, all our communities move trick-or-treat night to the 30th, which we originally had as a parent-teacher night.”

Rasmussen mentions that the parent teacher conferences will now be held on October 28th and 29th, allowing for families to enjoy Halloween festivities in their respective communities, then enjoy some Friday night lights should the football team advance to the second round.
