Funeral Mass for Janet Davis, 93, of Johnston, formerly of Jefferson, will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 25, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson.  Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.  There will be a Rosary Service at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.  The family will greet friends from 4:15 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.

She is survived by her sons: Tom (Paula) of Grimes, Iowa and Tim of Prosper, Texas; grandchildren: Teresa (Andy) Pope of Ankeny, Iowa and Christina Davis of Montreal, Canada; great grandchildren: Colton and Madelyn Pope; brother: Roy Scharfenkamp of Baudette, Minnesota; sisters-in-law: Karen Scharfenkamp of Carroll, Iowa and Mary Rae Bragg of Dubuque, Iowa; brother-in-law: Ronald (Felicia) Davis of Porter, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
