The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country Teams participated in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet in Pella on Wednesday, and finished inside the top three to advance to state in Fort Dodge.

The Tigers girls racked up 92 points for second place behind Pella, while the boys tallied 91 points for second, also trailing the Dutch. In the girls race, ADM sophomore Elliotte Von Roden finished 14th overall with a time of 20 minutes and 8 seconds, then junior Allie Eggleston was 17th at 20:39, and junior Addy Bjork marked 19th at 21:01.

On the boys side, senior Ty Landphair notched 7th overall at 16:30, followed by junior Max Marple at 17:09, senior Robbie Hall captured 17:10, and junior Ty Miller got 17:15. The Tiger boys return to the state meet for the second consecutive year, and the girls make it as a team after Von Roden was the lone representative last season.
