The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football Team will round out the regular season tonight in Adel recognizing the seniors, as Denison-Schleswig will be making the long road trip into town.

The Tigers have a 7-1 record on the year, and have wrapped up the district currently sitting at 4-0, while the Monarchs are 1-7 overall (1-3 in district). This will be the fourth matchup between the two teams, as ADM has won two of the three games, including a 42-0 shutout in 2023. Prior to kickoff, the Tigers will honor their seniors. Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch reveals that the upperclassmen have bought into sacrificing their spots in order to play some younger guys this year.

“I think oftentimes that can create some animosity with the seniors, and our kids just accepted that role. They understood that we needed to put some guys in there that were going to make us the best football team that we can be. And for them to be able to do that is a tremendous way to explain who they are. They’re just good, they’re selfless, they work extremely hard, they work together, and I’m just really proud of them.”

ADM senior Quarterback Hudson Shull has 1,096 passing yards on the season with 12 touchdowns, then added another 1,021 yards rushing with 15 TDs. Denison-Schleswig senior QB Blaine Grady has accumulated 547 passing yards with 4 touchdowns, then a single touchdown with his legs. Tonight’s game is being played from Tiger Stadium in Adel at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 6pm.
