The AC/GC Chargers are hosting their first round game of the Class A postseason.

The Chargers are coming off their third straight season with no losses during the regular season, and are looking to make a big push this postseason to try and head to the UNI-Dome. The team is 8-0 on the season, Class A District 7 Champions, and was ranked 3rd in class in the final Iowa High School Athletic Association rankings. They host the 5-3 Logan-Magnolia Panthers, who are ranked 4th in Class A District 8.

For the Chargers, senior quarterback Tommy Skram leads in passing yards, with 164 yards on eight of nine passing for two touchdowns in the air, and adds 221 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Senior running back Joe Crawford leads in both rushing and receiving yards, with 944 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on 75 carries, with 104 yards and two receiving touchdowns on four catches. On the defensive side, senior linebacker Xander Harwood leads in total tackles with 40.5, 1.5 tackles for a loss of yards, one sack, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.

For the Panthers, Brodie Davis leads in passing yards with 1,165 yards on 90 of 158 passes for 13 touchdowns. Max Wingert is the rush leader with 409 yards on 96 carries for two touchdowns. Crosby Yoder leads in receiving yards with 629 yards on 48 receptions for six touchdowns, and adds 168 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Wade Hawkins is the defensive leader with 35.5 total tackles, 3 tackles for a loss of yards, 0.5 sacks and one fumble recovery.
