If you have been to the Greene County High School recently, you may have noticed some new helpful signage at the entrances to the parking lots.
Principal Karen Shannon says one of her projects was to install location signs to better help direct visitors or family members that are attending games, activities or other events.
“We have lots of doors here and it never failed, we’d have people park on the north side and the gym is on the south. And we’d feel bad that they had to get around and walk around or drive their car back around. So it was really just about making our guests feel really welcome and making sure that people are coming that people are coming in the right doors, that bus drivers from out of town know where to go. So yeah, I think it turned out great! I’m really glad and I appreciate the grounds guys getting them done for us this summer.”
Shannon reveals that the signs were made by the Iowa Prison Industries and the items came in last winter and were installed this past summer.
