The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center (AC/GC) National Honor Society (NHS) is holding their yearly Trick-or-Eats event on Thursday night.

Sponsor Amy Ruhland says that members will be going around the communities of Adair, Casey and Guthrie Center from 6-8pm asking for donations of food items for the Guthrie County Food Pantry in Guthrie Center, and the local pantries in Adair and Casey. She explains that with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits not being issued for November, this year it is even more critical to gather food for those who need it. Ruhland adds that the organization appreciates all the support that they receive from the communities.
