A juvenile driver was traveling in the 14000 block of H Ave. when the driver noticed a vehicle driven by Brysen Heinkel, Perry, that had backed into the roadway from a farm drive. A collision occurred and both vehicles ended up in the ditch. All passengers were checked by EMS. Damage to the juvenile driver’s car was estimated at $10000. Damage to Mr. Heinkel’s car was estimated at $5000 and was towed from the scene. The other vehicle was left to be towed at a different time. Mr. Heinkel was cited for Fail To Yield Upon Entering Through Highway.
Oct. 29th
Robert Carpenter, age 39, 1010 68th Street, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation.
Oct. 30th
Cody Vandel, age 38, 504 W Buckeye St, Creston, was arrested for Possession Of Controlled Substance.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
