As the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football team prepare for their first round of the Class 5A state football tournament, senior linebacker Connor Stolpe continues to find success as he sits in the top five in the state for solo and total tackles.

Stolpe, is currently positioned second in the entire state for solo tackles and third in the state in total tackles. In Class 5A, Stolpe leads both categories, with 85 solo tackles so far this season with 99 total tackles.

Stolpe looks to continue to dominate on defense as the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs make the journey to Sioux City, to face off against the East Black Raiders on Friday night. The first round of the Class 5A football tournament for DCG is scheduled to begin at 7pm, with pregame coverage on KDLS beginning at 6pm.
