The AC/GC Chargers football team continues their postseason push, with a very familiar opponent.

The Chargers once again host the Mount Ayr Raiders in postseason play. This makes the sixth time in three years the two have faced off, with three games being postseason. AC/GC has won the five previous games by a combined 185-84. These are two teams that are very run heavy, but that do have some passes on the year as well.

For the Chargers, senior quarterback Tommy Skram is the passing yards leader, going 10 of 14 for 206 yards and three passing touchdowns, while adding 265 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Senior running back Joe Crawford leads in rushing and receiving yards with 85 carries for 1,061 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground, and five receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns in the air. On the defensive end, senior Xander Harwood leads in total tackles with 47, including 1.5 tackles for a loss of yards, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.

For the Raiders, Jackson Ruggles leads in passing yards, going 23 of 47 for 559 yards and 8 touchdowns, and adds 671 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground. Dyson Thompson is the team’s rushing leader with 109 carries for 1,020 yards and 11 touchdowns, adding 13 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown as well. Adler Reed is the receiving leader with 14 catches for 324 yards and four touchdowns, along with 308 yards and one touchdown on the ground. On the defensive, Rowan Sackett is the total tackles leader with 47.5, 10.5 tackles for a loss of yards and two sacks.
