On Saturday, the Addisyn Leonard and Scarlett Putney represented West Central Valley Dance at the Miss Dance Team Iowa Competition. Leonard and Putney performed as a duo and individually, and were invited to join Team Iowa at Nationals in Las Vegas in March.

All dancers were judged on technique, routine content and performance execution. The duo of Leonard and Putney found success, placing second place as a duo. Individually, Addisyn placed third in solos while Scarlett placed fourth.

The journey to the state dance competition in Des Moines continues for Addisyn Leonard and Scarlett Putney with the state dance tournament scheduled to begin on December 4th.
