Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is getting ready for the Adair County 4-H Awards Day.

Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that now that the record books are in, they’ve been busy at the Office. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about that work.

“We are working hard on preparing for awards day. So all those record books that came in, our numbers were down slightly this year, but still had pretty great participation overall. We had 55 members submit record books. And with those, they were nominated for individual awards, for project awards. We have 100 percent club attendance awards.”

Savage mentions that the Awards Day will be an ice cream social like last year, and will begin at 1:30pm on November 16th. She adds that it will be held at the 4-H and FFA Building at the Adair County Fairgrounds.
