As the basketball season for the West Central Valley girls continues to grow near, head coach Dan Druivenga looks forward to working alongside seniors Talia Williams and Macy Long for help in leadership, and helping the new incoming freshman adjust to varsity play.

Coach Druivenga recognizes the impact that Long and Williams have for the time, as they have played varsity basketball for West Central Valley since their freshman year.

“My two seniors, Talia Williams and the Macy Long, will step up. I think they probably both have been playing since they were freshmen at the varsity level of some kind, so they kind of know what we want done, and hopefully I can teach them to also help out the freshmen because the hardest thing for freshmen coming in is knowing our systems so it takes a little while to get things going.”

Wildcat girls basketball is just weeks away with the first game scheduled for Monday, November 24th.
