The unofficial election results have been released in Greene County.

According to the Greene County Auditor’s Office, voters selected Megan Holz with 21.26 percent of the vote, Cindi Daubendiek tallied 20.88 percent, and Katie Nelson had 20.24 percent for the Greene County School Board. As for the Jefferson City Council contested race, Luke Winkelman had 866 votes, Darren Jackson received 565 votes, and Harry Ahrenholtz had 551 votes, as the top vote-getters for the three seats. 

Additionally, the Grand Junction and Scranton City Council races were also contested. The Greene County Auditor’s Office says Zachary Dearborn, Bryce Stevens and John Thompson were the unofficial winners of the three Grand Junction City Council seats, and Scranton voters chose Annette Brown and Brenna Vauble to serve on their City Council. 

There was a 33.71 percent voter turnout, which was slightly less than in the last city/school election in 2023 of 35.77 percent. The votes are unofficial until the Greene County Board of Supervisors conducts a two-tier canvass in the next couple of weeks.
