The Stuart Public Library is ready for one of their favorite programs this month.
Librarian Rachel Majerus says that Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger’s Books and Badges is an extremely popular program at the library, and with their patrons. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why the program is a favorite.
“It’s just great to have any kind of community partnership, and Sergeant Katie’s programs, she’s been doing so much for the school systems, the community in general. We’re just lucky to be a part of it. She has a love for books and is working to get books in the hands of kids and we’re just happy to provide an outlet for that.”
Majerus mentions that this month’s Books and Badges will include singing, reading, crafts and activities. She adds that it will begin at 10am at the library on November 13th.
