Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football senior Reed Obstarczyk has been showcasing an offensive clinic over the past two weeks.
The Tigers are gearing up to play in the Class 4A Semifinals versus Xavier on Friday. During the last regular season game against Denison-Schleswig, Obstarczyk had 16 carries for 163 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, then another TD through the air for a total of five. The senior nearly doubled his workload in the Class 4A First Round game versus North Scott, as he finished with 30 rushes for 252 yards and two touchdowns.
Obstarczyk’s offensive prowess has helped ADM get to a 9-1 overall record and be one win away from advancing to playing in the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. First, the Tigers must beat Xavier, who is unblemished on the year at 10-0. The game will be played from Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids on Friday, starting at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 6pm.
