An annual holiday tradition returns Saturday, November 29th with the Perry Booster Club’s annual Tinsel Trot.  The holiday tradition is a 5k run or walk with the start time of 10:30 am in front of the Raccoon Valley Bank.

“This is a fun event that was formed years ago and has become a holiday tradition in our town,” stated Perry Booster President Mindy Baxter.  “People come dressed in a lot of creative in the spirit type of costumes, I’ve seen some in fall decor while others are dressed from head to toe in Christmas decor.  It’s just a fun event for everyone, for kids, adults, for those who want to walk or for those who want to run.  It truly is for everyone.”

Preregistration is underway by going online to perry-booster-club.square.site/s/shop.    Register before November 16th for an event t-shirt.  Registration for adults is 35 dollars and students only 25 dollars.  Walk up registration on the day of the event will also be available.  Shirt pick up and waiver signing is at 9:30 at the Raccoon Valley Bank with the Tinsel Trot starting at 10:30.
