Proper preparation is a key for the Perry swim team as they gear up for this Saturday’s Regional competition in Ames.  Head coach Jean Dowd says there are plenty of resources to scout along with a couple of familiar opponents which always helps with the unknown.

“You can use the website and even get a printout of each event along with all of the swimmers that will be competing in Ames.  With the resources available, you can see where our times stack up compared to others which gives us a better perspective on what to expect.  It also helps that both Carroll and Algona are part of the field and we are familiar with both of those teams since we swam against them this year.”

Perry will take their entire roster to Ames this Saturday for Regional competition.  The winner of each event along with several at large qualifiers will advance to the State Championship November 13th and 14th.
