The Stuart Police Department shared that an arrest has been made in a felony stalking case.
According to the department, the arrest was made Monday night, when 50 year old Rober Dillinger of Des Moines was taken into custody on alleged stalking charges. The department located Dillinger at the Fort Des Moines Residential Facility and made the arrest, which followed an investigation into allegations that he had been following a protected party who is a Stuart resident, a violation of a court-issued no-contact order.
Dillinger was booked into the Guthrie County Jail, and has been charged with stalking, a Class C Felony, and violation of a no-contact order, a simple misdemeanor. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring more information as it becomes official.
