
A Boone man has been taken into custody by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for an incident that occurred in August.
According to court documents, the sheriff’s office conducted a consent search at a residence along the 200 block of Northwest Prairieside Drive in Waukee on August 26th. The criminal complaint states that the residence belonged to 19-year-old Corbin Lumley, of Boone, and was allegedly on his way to pick up a USPS parcel containing 400 THC carts weighing approximately 19,000 grams.
Court documents show that the search in Waukee found Lumley to be in possession of an additional 9,228 grams of THC carts, as well as a .22LR caliber rifle and a Polymer 80 personally made firearm. He was arrested on a warrant for Class D Felonies of Failure to Affix Drug Tax Stamp and Controlled Substance Violation, plus a serious misdemeanor of Person Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons.
Lumley is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
