As the wrestling season continues to grow near, Panorama’s Emma Walker was given 11th place in the 170 pounds weight class during the Class 1A preseason rankings. Walker helped make history for Panther girls wrestling program last season, as one of two girl wrestlers to qualify for state.

As a freshman last season, Walker found plenty of success, ending the season with a 32-10 record. Walker placed second in districts to punch her ticket to the state tournament, defeating Jalon Olson of Clarinda by fall in 3:02. Walker’s freshman season came to a close at the state tournament, coming up short in both matches.

Hungry for a return to the state tournament, sophomore Emma Walker has been ranked 11th in the 170 weight class in the Class 1A preseason rankings.
