The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is preparing for another one of their annual events.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that they are getting ready for the Festival of Trees. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what people looking to take part in the event need to know about participating.

“Trees can start being set up November 20th here at the library. Our Google form is available on our website to sign up and register your organization or business to let us know that you’re going to be bringing the tree in. We would like to have the trees set up the week before Thanksgiving, especially due to us being closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday.”

Hawkins mentions that the theme this year is “Silver and Gold.” She adds that if anyone needs to set up a different time to set up their tree, please call the library and they will work with you.
