A rear-ending collision Tuesday morning in northern Greene County results in one injury.
Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says a deputy, Churdan Fire and Rescue, Greene County Ambulance and Lake City Ambulance responded to the scene at the intersection of D Avenue and 140th Street, west of Churdan, at 10:18am. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that a 2025 Toyota Camry was heading north on D Avenue and slowed to turn onto 140th Street, when a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, that was driven by Ryan Minnehan of Churdan, rear-ended the Camry.
Williams states that while Minnehan was uninjured, the driver of the Camry, John Mosher of Florida, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a medical facility for treatment. Williams adds that the Camry sustained $8,000 of damage and the Silverado had $2,500 in damage.
