The Greene County Pork Producers stepped up to provide food to less fortunate individuals and families.
According to Aylssa Juergensen, their organization donated 450 pounds of pork products to the Jefferson food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC), and the Northside Assembly of God in Jefferson. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Greene County Pork Producers gave the ARC ground pork, ham and pork tenderloins, while Northside Assembly of God received ground pork and tenderloins.
Juergensen reminds everyone that these pork options are available to those in need at the Northside Assembly of God and for the clients that utilize the ARC. She adds that the ARC is open Thursdays from 9-11:30am and Northside is open every Thursday from 5-7pm.
