The second week of girls’ basketball practice at Paton-Churdan will end tomorrow with a scrimmage in Jefferson at Greene County High School with the Rams and Martensdale-St. Mary’s. The Rockets return experienced players and a veteran coaching staff. Tom Kennedy is the head coach and Bud Fagen is his assistant.

Annie Smith (Fagen’s daughter) is the Principal and Activities Director at P-C, and she talked about the experience of the players and coaches. “I’d like to know the combined years of coaching basketball between our head coach, Tom Kennedy, and Bud Fagen, the assistant coach. We return all but one player from last season, so we return experience, but it’s still rather young experience. The girls and coaches are looking forward to the season.”

The scrimmage in Jefferson starts at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.
