The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The council will hold a public hearing for a voluntary annexation of property owned by Semper Fi Commercial Solutions LLC and the city through a public right of way. The council will be hearing public comments and figure out next steps for the real estate property to be annexed. Following that, the council will review and potentially accept a resolution for a voluntary annexation on the property.

Other items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution to accept the site plan for the JBS Sausage Plant in Perry and provide consent to permit barbed wire fencing, a resolution to appoint two members to the 2026 Dallas County E911 Board, appointing a representative to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission for 2026, a resolution for the fiscal year 2025 Iowa Department of Transportation Street Finance Report, a resolution to certify tax increment finance debt to Dallas County Auditor Todd Halbur, a resolution to accept the Annual Urban Renewal fiscal year 2025 report, and a resolution to accept the fiscal year 2025 annual financial report.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry on Monday at 6pm.
